Sweetheart Felicia

I have been on a coloring roll lately! Today I am sharing a card that is a little different than my usual style.

Materials

"Sweetheart Felicia" digi stamp from Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
"Flourish Folded Card"  and "Flourish Label" from Sophisticated Soiree by Cricut
cardstock in pink and white
embossed white cardstock
flourishes and leaves from Cricut
various silk and paper flowers
pearls in three sizes colored with BP6 marker
36 inches of one inch pink lace
20 inches of 1/4 inch wide dark pink ribbon

Color Chart

Face - FS2, TN2, PP1
Hair - CT2, CT3, CT4, TN7
Dress, Bow & Heart - PP1, PP3, PP5, BP6

I made my digi image 4 inches tall using the print then cut feature of my Cricut Explore. After coloring, she was attached to a 5 1/2 by 3 3/4 inch double "Flourish Label" with foam tape. The lace and ribbon were wrapped around the front panel of the card, starting at the middle front, going around the inside, and ending at the middle front. The overlap is hidden by the image when it is attached with foam tape. I made a bow with the left over lace and ribbon and attached it to the lower left corner of the card. I scattered two larger paper flowers and 4 smaller silk flowers around the bow. I used my Cricut Explore to make some small leaves and swirls which were tucked in among the flowers. As a final touch I colored three varying sizes of pearl beads with the BP6 marker and placed them at the upper left.

I hope you like my little card. Thanks for stopping by! ~ Shirley

Fun in the Snow Part 2

As promised, here is page 2 of my "Fun in the Snow" layout.

For this layout I used light pink cardstock for my base, pink snowflake cardstock for the large mat and dark pink for the bottom layer of the mats. The rest of the supplies are the same as for page one.

The snowflake mat is cut at 9 3/4 by 9 3/4 inches and mounted on a 10 by 10 inch dark pink mat. This is attached 1/2 inch in from the left edge and one inch down from the top.

The striped mat is cut 6 by 8 inches and mounted on a 6 1/4 by 8 1/4 inch dark pink mat. This mat is centered top and bottom on the snowflake mat and is 2 1/8 inches in from the left edge of the snowflake mat.

The snowflakes are cut from white glitter cardstock and are 5 1/4 inches and 2 1/4 inches. the "SNOW" title is from Cricut and is 1 inch tall.

This little guy was made 5 inches tall (including the ear muffs). The pail was made from silver metallic cardstock.

This cutie is 6 1/2 inches tall from the tip of his hat to the bottom of his feet. He holds a 2 inch glitter snowflake.

Here are the two pages of my "Fun in the Snow" layout  shown side by side.

I hope you liked my layout and thanks for stopping by. I'd love to hear from you! ~ Shirley

Fun in the Snow

Today I am sharing the first page of what will be a two page layout.

For my layout I printed my paper using my Imagine and the cartridge, "Christmas Wish" but you can use any snowflake pattern and coordinating cardstock.

MATERIALS

"Fun in the Snow" svg pattern from KaDoodle Bug Designs
Snowflake cardstock and coordinating striped cardstock
Cardstock in light aqua (2), dark aqua (2), dark pink, white and black
White glitter cardstock
Clear gems in various sizes
Colorbox inks to match cardstock
Your favorite glues and adhesives

Using the svg pattern cut your pieces at the following sizes:
Bear - 6 inches
Title - 3 by 5 1/2 inches
Snowflakes - 4 1/4 inches and 2 3/4 inches
Ink the edges of your pieces, assemble and add details.

Use one sheet of light aqua cardstock for the base of your page. Use the other for the title, the band on the earmuffs and the snowman's scarf.

Cut the mat for the title, the earmuffs and the scarf from dark pink. The bear and snowman are cut from white cardstock.

The snowflakes are cut from white glitter cardstock.

Cut a piece of the striped cardstock 4 inches by 11 inches. Mount this piece on a mat from dark aqua cut at 4 1/4 inches by 11 1/4 inches and attach this to the right side of the base 1/2 inch in from the right edge and centered on the top and bottom.

Using the snowflake cardstock, cut a mat 8 by 10 inches. Mount it on a dark aqua mat cut at 8 1/4 inches by 10 1/4 inches. Attach this 1 1/2 inches in from the left side and centered at the top and bottom. It will overlap the striped piece.

Cut a 6 inch by 8 inch piece from the striped cardstock and mount it on a 6 1/4 inch by 8 1/4 inch piece of dark aqua cardstock. This will be attached over the snowflake mat 3 inches in from the left edge and 2 inches up from the bottom.

Attach the title to the upper left, the snowman to the lower right, the large layered snowflake to the lower left corner, and the smaller layered snowflake will be partially tucked under the mat in the upper right corner. Add gems to the snowflakes.

This layout can accommodate one 5 by 7 or 4 by 6 photo or two 3 by 5 photos.

Stay tuned for page two of this layout.
