Beach Play Sophie Easel Card

Hi! Now that summer has finally arrived there's nothing better than a day on the beach playing in the sand!

Today I am on the Little Blue Button Stamps Blog with this fun little easel card. I used  "Beach Play Sophie" which can be found here:  https://lbbstamps.com/product/beach-play-sophie-digi-stamp/

The card base is "Bright Side Easel Card" from My Scrap Chick which you can find here:  https://www.myscrapchick.com//product.cfm?product=779

I made the card slightly larger at about 5 by 7 inches. Using Design Space I attached the image to the cloud and printed it using the print then cut function. I colored her using my Spectum Noir Alcohol Markers.

The sentiment is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. The final touch  was a row of white lace and blue striped ribbon added to the card base.

Dressed Up Sophie

Hi! Today I want to share a card I made for a special friend. I used the sweet Dressed Up Sophie Digi Stamp from Little Blue Button Stamps for my card. This image comes with the sentiments pictured.

I made my card in Cricut Design Space. The card base is a pink 6 inch square card. I then added a 5.75 inch square light yellow mat, then a pink mat at the top that measures 5.5 by 2.75 inches. (The paper is from the Watercolor Ombre Stack by DCWV.) A floral mat the same size was added to the bottom. ( The pink rose floral cardstock is from Samantha Rose by DCWV.) A 5.75 inch wide heart border was added to the center where the two mats meet and a daisy trim was added down the middle. Small pink pearls were added to the center of each flower.

To create the image I started by slicing the sentiments off of the image, then attached the Sophie image to a 4.75 inch decorative shape with a matching frame. (from LSHD) I colored Sophie and her furry friend with my Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers.  The frame was cut from vanilla Pearlescent Cardstock by COLORBOK. The completed image and frame were attached to upper left side of the card with foam tape.
The sentiments were printed separately, cut into small rectangular shapes, then matted on coordinating cardstock. These were glued to the lower right side.

I love how sweet this card is.
Thanks for looking!

50's Ice Cream Soda Box

Hi! Today I am sharing this adorable 50's Ice Cream Soda Box made with a file from My Scrap Chick.

CG - 50s Ice Cream Soda Box: click to enlarge

I used a white pearl foil cardstock from the Watercolor Ombre Stack by DCWV for the base of the glass. I glued it together with Alene's Tacky Glue and held the pieces in place with paper clips while it dried.  I used a blue and pink floral print (source unknown) for the overlay on the glass.

I used a combination of Tombow Aqua Glue and a Zig 2 Way Glue pen on the overlays.

I used Recollections pink cardstock for the ice cream base and put it together the same way as the base.

The decorative pieces for the ice cream were cut from a textured pink polka dot by BAZZILL.

I love how this 50's Ice Cream Soda Box turned out! It's the perfect box to tuck a little surprise into for a special someone.

Boarding Time Shape Card

All Aboard!

Do you have some exciting tavel plans for this summer? This cute little guy is all packed and ready to go!

It's New Release Day at Little Blue Button Stamps and I used the cute little "Boarding Time" digi stamp to create this little shape card.
You can find all the New Releases HERE:

I created the shape card by welding two suitcase files from Design Space together at the sides. I cut an extra suitcase from patterned paper for the front of the card and added little rounded corners to the suitcase. I also added aqua pearls to the corners. The words "travel" and"journey" and the "Bon Voyage" luggage tag were also from Cricut. A pearl was added to the luggage tag.

I colored the cute little traveler with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

Bon Voyage!
