Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! In honor of teachers, I am sharing a heart grapevine wreath that would make a great teacher gift.
Materials
CK Smarty Owl pattern from KaDoodle Bug Designs found here:

12 inch heart shaped grapevine wreath
1 spool 7/8 inch wide school themed ribbon
1 spool each of 3 /16 inch ribbon in orange, green and purple (or any colors to match your other ribbon
3 one inch balloon buttons in primary colors
2 5/8 inch number buttons (optional)
Patterned paper is from Value Pack by Debbie Munn
Cardstock in white, green, orange, blue, lt. blue, black, red and yellow.
Wire, hot glue gun
Holding the three colors of 3/16 inch ribbon together, wrap the ribbon around the wreath about nine times, then tie them together at the top. Attach your number buttons to the middle of the remaining ribbon and make a multi looped bow that is about 4 1/2 inches wide. Leave long end pieces, about 6 to 7 inches long, to dangle down. Set aside.
Using the wider ribbon make a multi looped bow that is about 7 1/4 inches wide with 8 inch tails. The bow was fastened together with wire. Attach this bow to the top of the wreath, then attach the smaller bow over the center of the big bow using hot glue. Glue the balloon buttons in the center of the bows.
I made my owl 3 3/4 inches tall and mounted it with foam tape to a 4 3/4 inch mat. I made this two sided so the wreath would look good from both sides if put in a window. When putting the layers together, I sandwiched a piece of the 3/8 inch ribbon between the layers so the mat would hang at the desired position.
Why not make a cute wreath for your child's favorite teacher! Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to hear from you! ~ Shirley
