Cupid's Cloud & Hearts In Circle Frame

If you are like me you like to get your money's worth from your purchases. This also applies to my SVG purchases. I always love when I can create more than one project from the same file. Today I am sharing how I used "Cupid's Cloud" and "Hearts in Circle Frame" in two different ways.

For my projects I made a 12 by 12 inch scrapbook layout and a 5 inch stand up frame.

For the stand on the back I used Flower Frame from MSC ( you could use one from any frame.)

Adhesive, foam tape and foam dots

The frame file and digi image were uploaded into Design Space. The frame was cut at 5 inches from the glitter paper.  I used print then cut to make the digi image 4 1/4 inches long, then colored it with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. 

Color Palette

Bear: TN1, 2, 5

Nose: IB 5, 9

Wings & Diaper: TB 1, 2, 4

Cloud: TB1 Blender

Hearts: DR 2, 6, 7, Glitter Pen

Adhesive

I used two shades of pink as the background layers for my layout. I added an 11 1/2 square of the arrow print centered on top. The frame was cut 9 1/4 inches square using the same shades of pink for the bottom two layers as were used for the background. The top layer is white and the second layer is cut from the pink heart print. The cut out hearts from the frame were used for the corner accents on the layout. 

The Cupids's Cloud paper piecing was sized at 6 inches. Everything except the bear was cut from glitter paper. The finished bear was attached to the upper left of the frame with the little hearts scattered down the left edge of the frame.  The frame was then attached to the center of the page.

CARD RECIPE

DD Stamps Used: L Ladybug from the Character Letters

Cardstock and Papers: Image printed on Spectrum Noir Cardstock, printed papers from "Hello Love" by Crate Paper, cardstock by Core'dinations

Markers: Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

Acc./Embellishments: 3-d frame by My Scrap Chick, ladybug from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs

Special Techniques: The frame is 7 inches in diameter and is assembled with foam tape according to the directions included with the file. I used the dotted "Hello Love" paper for the bottom layer and the small floral print for the front, top layer. The verse was printed on a 2 5/8 inch dotted circle using Design Space. This was centered in the opening before the back layer was added. 

The L Ladybug is 4 1/8 inches tall and the little ladybug is about 3 inches. 

The verse in the center reads:

This cute little ladybug

Will not fly away home.

In fact she is yours

To keep for your own,

To always remind you

Of someone that's true.

I'm glad that I "spotted"

A good friend in you!
