What's Going On?

Today is New Release Day at Little Blue Button Stamps and I used the adorable What's Going On?  digi stamp for my card. Since my granddaughter is kitty crazy, this stamp was especially fun for me to color.

I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils.

The standard A2 card base was made from light teal cardstock and the pumpkin colored mat and tag were cut from pumpkin cardstock. A wavy corner accent piece from Cricut was cut from kitty themed paper and added to the upper left. 

I used the image title for my sentiment since I thought it was appropriate. I used design space to write it on the tag. I added two small holes to the top of the tag and tied it with light teal embroidery thread. The tag was attached with glue dots.

Pretty Purse Card

It was recently my granddaughter's tenth birthday, so I had to make her a card that combined some of her favorite things. She is definitely a girly-girl who loves her three cats, so I combined the two in this card.

I used the file, Purse Pretty from My Scrap Chick for the card, and used a feminine, pink, double-sided cardstock from Modern Millinery by COLORBOK. I inked all the edges in pink and added some pink gems by Jots to the flaps.

 Using my Cricut Maker

 I added some corny cat sentiments to the mats in the small pocket in the front of the purse.

On the inside I added a kitty face image and a birthday sentiment. Then I added some lace sticker borders by Jots. My granddaughter loved her kitty, purse card. (And so do I.)

Kitty Cat Birthday Set

My granddaughter is a kitty lover so I made her this cute gift set for her ninth birthday. I used the following files from My Scrap Chick for my set.

MATERIALS

Files from MSC:    Explosion Box , Kitty Cats Belly Box Trio,   Paper Bow Wrap and an easel base from Easel Card Collection.

Printed Cardstock: Joie De Vivre by DCWV, Modern Millinary Signature Paper by Colorbok and Pink Dot by Bazzill.

Other cardstock by Coredinations

small amount of 1/4 inch wide dark pink ribbon

1/4 inch clear gem

tape runner and glue

Keeping the box pieces grouped together, I sized the bottom of the box to be 11.5 inches. I used the kitty from the card and the paw print from the tag from the Kitty Cats Belly Box Trio as decorations for my box.

I added the card front to a base from  Easel Card Collection to make it an easel card .

My grandaughter was thrilled with this set and I'm sure any kitty lovers you know will love it just as much!
