Knitting Anna

      Hi! Today is New Release Day at Little Blue Button Stamps and my card uses the adorable image, "Knitting Anna."

I started with a 5 by 6 inch base card made from a striped pattern from the Confetti Stack from DCWV.  The image was printed at 3.75 by 4.75 inches and the mat is 4 by 5 inches.  The image was colored with Prismacolor Pencils to resemble my granddaughters' kitties. I cut a 5 inch by .75 inch triangle from the open bottom section of the card. I used the same shape to cut a triangular notch from the bottom of the image and the light yellow mat. Small holes were punched .5 inch down and .25 inch in on each side of the front of the card. Punch holes were also made at 3/8 inch down and 1/4 inch in on the matted image.  I mounted the image 1/8 inch down from the top fold  and centered at the sides, then light yellow thread is threaded through the holes and tied in the middle.

Finally, I made two 1.5 by 2 inch knitting balls and needles using an image from Cricut. These were added near the bottom on each side.

I love this sweet image with Anna and her two furry "helpers."

Owl and Kitty Belly Boxes

Hi, Today I am sharing two little belly boxes that I made for my granddaughters. One granddaughter is kitty crazy and the other has a thing for owls.

I used Files from My Scrap Chick.

For the Kitty Belly Box I used Black Cat Belly Box Trio    

This belly box is seven inches tall. I made the pumpkin pieces from glitter cardstock and attached the pieces with foam tape to add more dimension. I used one inch googly eyes on my kitty. 

For the owl, I used Owl Gradution Trio and Witch Hat Halloween Treat Box for the hat.

When making the owl, I left out the cap and diploma. The owl box is 5 1/2 inches tall and the hat is six inches tall. I used foam tape again in the construction of the owl,  and also again used googly eyes. The hat was made from glitter cardstock.

Cat Latte Easel Card

Today is New Release Day at Digital Delights By Louby Loo.

For my cute latte easel card I used Cat Latte Set.

CARD RECIPE

All DD stamps used: Cat Latte Set

Cardstock & Papers: "Uptown Flair" by the Paper Studio, "Joie De Vivre" by DCWV, green cardstock by Recollections

Markers Used: Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

Acc./Embellishments: Pink pearls of various sizes, Dark pink 2/8 inch ribbon, light pink 1/8 inch ribbon, pink/white twine, latte shape card & easel card base by My Scrap Chick

Special Technique: 

For my card base I used "Latte Shape Card" and "Easel Card Collection" from My Scrap Chick. The finished card measures 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. I used Design Space and my cricut explore to print the digi stamps. I used print then cut for the cat and the writing feature for the sentiment.

The latte cup is 5 1/2 inches tall. I cut the shape card in half and used only half for my card. The cat image is 3 3/4 inches tall.

HA-P Meow DAY

Yesterday was my granddaughter's eighth birthday and since she is cat crazy I made her a cute kitty themed easel card. I used the KaDoodle Bug Designs pattern, "Happy Meow Day" which can be found here:  http://kadoodlebugdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=351

I used an easel card base from My Scrap Chick and enlarged the cake from the "Happy Meow Day" pattern for part of the card base. The card base is 10 inches tall and 5 1/8 inches wide. The cake section is 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. I made the cat 5 1/4 inches tall using a wavy orange paper. The mice are about 1 1/2 inches tall. The sentiment mat is 3 by 4 3/8 inches. The sentiments are from Cricut. All papers are just scraps from my stash.
