Today I am sharing the first page of what will be a two page layout.
For my layout I printed my paper using my Imagine and the cartridge, "Christmas Wish" but you can use any snowflake pattern and coordinating cardstock.
MATERIALS
"Fun in the Snow" svg pattern from KaDoodle Bug Designs
Snowflake cardstock and coordinating striped cardstock
Cardstock in light aqua (2), dark aqua (2), dark pink, white and black
White glitter cardstock
Clear gems in various sizes
Colorbox inks to match cardstock
Your favorite glues and adhesives
Using the svg pattern cut your pieces at the following sizes:
Bear - 6 inches
Title - 3 by 5 1/2 inches
Snowflakes - 4 1/4 inches and 2 3/4 inches
Ink the edges of your pieces, assemble and add details.
Use one sheet of light aqua cardstock for the base of your page. Use the other for the title, the band on the earmuffs and the snowman's scarf.
Cut the mat for the title, the earmuffs and the scarf from dark pink. The bear and snowman are cut from white cardstock.
The snowflakes are cut from white glitter cardstock.
Cut a piece of the striped cardstock 4 inches by 11 inches. Mount this piece on a mat from dark aqua cut at 4 1/4 inches by 11 1/4 inches and attach this to the right side of the base 1/2 inch in from the right edge and centered on the top and bottom.
Using the snowflake cardstock, cut a mat 8 by 10 inches. Mount it on a dark aqua mat cut at 8 1/4 inches by 10 1/4 inches. Attach this 1 1/2 inches in from the left side and centered at the top and bottom. It will overlap the striped piece.
Cut a 6 inch by 8 inch piece from the striped cardstock and mount it on a 6 1/4 inch by 8 1/4 inch piece of dark aqua cardstock. This will be attached over the snowflake mat 3 inches in from the left edge and 2 inches up from the bottom.
Attach the title to the upper left, the snowman to the lower right, the large layered snowflake to the lower left corner, and the smaller layered snowflake will be partially tucked under the mat in the upper right corner. Add gems to the snowflakes.
This layout can accommodate one 5 by 7 or 4 by 6 photo or two 3 by 5 photos.
Stay tuned for page two of this layout.
