Star Box

Today in preparation for the 4th of July, I played with the Star Box Trio file from My Scrap Chick. I used the small and medium boxes. I used papers from these paper stacks:

Vintage Nation by the Paper Studio
Americana Designer Paper by COLORBOK

When gluing the boxes together make sure the corners with the deeply cut corners are folded into mountain folds and used as the outside points of the boxes and lids.

If you put the layers of the topper together with foam tape you will get a 3-D effect.

I hope you liked my Star Boxes!

Happy Fourth of July!

Yum, Yum Sophie

Today I am on the Little Blue Button Stamps Blog with this birthday card using Yum, Yum Sophie and Tasty Cupcake digital stamps.

This is a slightly over sized card that measures 5.5 by 7.5 inches. A 7.25 by 5.25 light teal mat was added to the white card base, then a 6.5 by 4.75 cupcake print mat from Confetti by the paper studio was added on top of that.

A 4.75 by 2.25 pink scalloped border was added to the top of the card and a 1.75 by 4.75 white mat was added on top. A 3.75 by 1 3/8 inch sentiment from Cricut was added onto the white mat.

A pink 4.75 by .5 inch scalloped strip was added to the bottom.

Using Design Space, I printed "Yum, Yum Sophie" at 4 inches and the "Tasty Cupcake" was printed at 1.5 inches. I colored the images with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I used a glitter pen for accents on the cupcakes.

The cupcake image was added to a pink 1.75 inch circle tag and a yellow 2 1/8 inch scalloped circle. This was added to the lower right side of the top border and a teal bow was added to the top of the tag.

Have a great day!

Gardener

Hi! Don't you love to dig your hands into the soil and grow something beautiful or delicious?

Today I used the New Release image, "Gardener" from Little Blue Button Stamps to make this swing card. (Swing Card pattern by Simply Crafty SVGS)

I made the card base using a medium blue cardstock from Recollections. The floral print mats were cut from the "Heritage" Stack by Craft Smith. The lattice and foliage were cut from a glossy gold cardstock. (source unknown)

I colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils and added three small, pink, paper flowers and the gold foliage along the bottom edge.

On the other side of the swing section of the card I added a sentiment from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I hope you liked my little swing card.
 Thanks for stopping by!
