These little favor boxes are so much fun to make for those last minute little gifts. ( I'm going to fill mine with a little cash!) Thanks for stopping by!

Gingerbread Babies

Today I am sharing an easel card and tag set featuring "Gingerbread Babies #1 & #2"  digi stamps from My Scrap Chick.

For the easel card I used Frills Circle Easel Card, and for the tag I used Scallop Circle Tags.

I uploaded all the svg's and images into Design Space. I attached the images to the white scalloped layer of the easel card and the white plain circle of the tag.  The cardstock is from Recollections and the gingerbread paper is an old paper from Hot Off the Press. The "To:" and "From:" were added using a font from my ipad. The images were colored with Prismacolor pencils. I added holly and green and red gem accents. The sentiment is from Apex.

Thanks for stopping by.

Frosty's Top Hat

Hi! Today I am sharing a fancy snowman top hat box I made with files from My Scrap Chick.  I used Uncle Sam Hat Box for the box and Snowflake Layers for the large snowflake.

MATERIALS

Uncle Sam Hat Box and Snowflake Layers  files from My Scrap Chick
"Old World Winter" cardstock by the Paper Studio
Glitter cardstock by Recollections
various Christmas silk florals
3/4 inch ribbon
snowflake stickers
small gems in sage and yellow
tape runner, glue and paper clips

After cutting out the pieces, I glued the main pieces together using a combination of tape runner and glue. The tape runner and paper clips hold the pieces together while the glue dries.

The two largest octagons are used for the brim and the smaller ones are used for the boxes. 3/4 inch ribbon was added around the base of the hat. (I used 1/1/2 inch wide ribbon folded down to 3/4 inch. )
I used pieces of various floral stems to decorate the hat. I made a layered snowflake to add and also used snowflake stickers.

The inner part of the box lifts out as shown.

I love this file! You can use it for so many occasions!

Thanks for stopping by!

I used "Cartulina Pink" by Recollections for the base of my gift wrap holder and prints from "Uptown Flair" from The Paper Studio for the mats, bow and flower.    There is a great pictorial tutorial on the MSC website on how to put together this  pint jar gift holder.

I used Design Space to add the little spa girl  from Little Girl Digi Stamps and the sentiment (from Digital Delights by Louby Loo) to the tag that is included with the pint jar holder. I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.

I love these jam jar/candle gift wrap holders! They are so versatile and can be used for so many things! They are also super easy to make!

Relax and enjoy your day!

Papers & Cardstock: Glitter and aqua cardstock by Recollections, glossy purple cardstock by Colorbok

Markers used: Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, sky - Prismacolor pencils

Acc./Embellishments: Snowflakes, various seed beads, foam tape

Special Technique: The base of my card was made with a file from Bird's Cards. The opening was originally an oval but I used Design Space to stretch it into a circle. Haunted House Easel Card

Well, it's October, so it must be time to start those Halloween projects!

Today I made a Halloween easel card using Haunted House Easel Card and Haunted House & Guests from My Scrap Chick.

Haunted House Easel Card: click to enlarge                  Haunted House & Guests: click to enlarge

I made the card the size that it uploaded into Design Space. I used "Spooky Delights" by DCWV for the house pillars, vellum for the ghosts and windows, and scraps from my stash for the other pieces.
I printed the sentiment from the included PDF.

The pillars, upstairs dormer window, gravestones and ghost were all attached with foam tape. I added gems on the dormer and door.

I hope you like my little easel card. I'd love to hear what you think, so please leave a comment.
Have a boo-tiful day!
