For my card I used Tire Swinging Percy and a sentiment from Super Hero Sentiment Set.
CARD RECIPE
Cardstock: Sage Green Light Foliage by Keeping Memories Alive, Dark green print from Old World Stack by DCWV, and Sage Green Dots by Lasting Impressions, cardstock by Recollections.
Markers Used: Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
Acc./Embellishments: Frame svg by My Scrap Chick, Cloud Embossing folder by Darice, butterfly by Craft Smart, four paper flowers by Prima.
Special Technique:
For your card base use a 5 inch by 12 inch piece of cardstock folded in half. Create an opening in the front panel that is approximately 3 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches. ( I used a card base from cricut, but you could make a die cut opening or make your own.)
To make the tent mechanism, cut a 5 by 4 inch rectangle from the same cardstock, and score the four inch length at 1, 2 and 3 inches. Then fold the piece into an M along the folds. Place double stick tape along the length of the first and last sections. Set this aside until after you have decorated the front of your card.

Decorate your card any way you like. In this case, Tire Swinging Percy swings back and forth in the opening.
COLOR PALETTE
Branch: GB 8, 9, 10, CG 2, 3, 4
Rope: EB 1. 2. GB 8

When you finish decorating the card, add the tent base as shown.
Tent cards are so fun and easy to make! It's fun to experiment with different shaped openings. I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial. You can find more details here.
Have a wonderful, crafty day!
