Flowering Bertie

Today is Delightful Thursday at Digital Delights by Louby Loo and I used Flowering Bertie Set to make my bendi card.

All DD Stamps Used: Flowering Bertie Set

Cardstock & Papers: "Warm & Cozy" from Jen Hadfield, images printed on Spectrum Noir Cardstock, plain cardstock from Coredinations

Markers Used: Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

Acc./ Embellishments: Mats from Cricut

Special Techniques: None

My bendi card was made in Design Space and looked like this.

The bendi section is made with two strips cut at 1 1/2 by 5 inches. A slit was cut half way down from the top on one piece and half  way down from the other. These slits are one inch in from the ends. A fold line was added 1/2 inch in from the other end. The fence was made 7 inches long, the gate was cut off, then cut in half and each piece was attached to the corresponding piece of the bendi mechanism. The card was put together as shown.
