Gobblers Diamond Fold Card

Hi! Today I am sharing a Diamond fold card I made using the "Gobblers" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

I used the "Diamond Fold Card" free download from Scrappy Dew for my card, but you could easily make your own file in design space as follows:

To make the card base, Fold the 5" x 12" piece in half for the card base. Add a decorative edge to the bottom of the card and to the 5 1/2" x 4 3/4" pieces, if desired. Add one to the front and the others to the inside panels. Add them securely since the rest of the card will be secured to these pieces. 

Fold the 7" X 7" piece as shown above, for the inside. Add the diamond accents, the sentiment and any other decorations at this time.  Glue this piece securely to the inside so it's pushed to the back with one square section secured to the front and one to the back. Put it under a heavy object to dry.

I made a 5 inch paper pieced pumpkin turkey from the "Gobblers" file from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I made one set of orange feathers and one of brown. I put the orange feathers down first and added the brown ones staggered on top and slightly raised at the outside using foam tape.I also used foam tape on the beak. I then  made a 3 inch print then cut "Gobble Til Ya Wobble" sentiment for the inside. This is how your card should look from the side.
